Qualifications: A Painter II will apply paint, varnishes, stains and other coatings to interior and/or exterior surfaces with brush, roller or other tools. Responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and removing old paint using paint removers, scrapers, wire brushes, or blowtorches. Prepares paint and primers and matches color. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education requirements.

Experience Requirements: A Painter II will typically have 2 – 5 years of experience.
